Name: Jadefang

Gender: Male

Clan: RockClan

Age/Rank: 32 moons/Medicine Cat

Appearance: Jadefang is a calico with golden-yellow eyes. He has a splotchy gold, brown, and dark black-brown pelt, and his ears have a black rim. He has long fur which keeps him warm in the winter. He isn’t big and bulky or slim and skinny, his sort of in between. His muzzle is white, and has a light pink nose and long whiskers.

Personality: Jadefang likes to keep to himself. He is shy and can be hard to get talking. He doesn’t like it when cats treat him different because he wasn’t born a clan cat. He doesn’t like to fight, and has a gentle nature. He doesn’t fight other cats unless he has to. Surprisingly he is also stubborn and firm, which doesn’t match his shyness.

History: Jadefang wasn’t born a clan cat. His mother was a loner who lived near the clan territories. Jadefang was born in late leaf-bare along with his two sisters. She loved him and his sisters, but she couldn’t take care of all of them. She was a loner and it was hard to take care of 3 kits all by herself. She made the decision to give one of her kits to one of the cat clans. She took Jadefang to the edge of RockClan territory, there she left him on the border. Jadefang was only 4 moons old.

Luckily for him RockClan took him in. He was picked on by the other kits when he first arrived, but it only lasted for a half-moon. He didn’t have any friends as a kit, and spent most of his time in the medicine cat den. When he was made an apprentice he was made the medicine cat apprentice. He was criticized by some of the older cats, they didn’t like the idea of a none clan born cat tending to their wounds. They also worried about StarClan not accepting him, but they did.

It took many moons for young Jadepaw to gain their trust. The old medicine cat died when Jadefang was 26 moons. Jadefang felt great sadness, he not only inherited the responsibility of medicine cat, but also lost a friend. Jadefang now is doing his best in healing his fellow clan cats, and keeping connected with StarClan.
